Yes I am blaming Weird Al. I spent the entire morning educating Ben on the importance of enjoying a good Weird Al video while mocking my once fav '80's star Michael Jackson. My children would never learn Shakespear or Bronte, it would be Yankovic and Jackson. Now you know why Ben is so warped, it's all ME! Oh, by the way those are book covers on Captain Retardo.

Amen to the home schooling. Now, I realize there are a select group of super moms out there who can educate their children better than the school systems, but I couldn't do it. I'm already on the countdown to the first day of school.
Hmmm...you may have caught the homeschooling bug! It seems once you start thinking about it, it creeps back up on you and you think, "You know what? I could do that!!!"
We finished our first year in May (after 1 year of public and 2 private). It's fun...and hard...but mainly fun! Weird Al could definitely be worked into the curriculum somewhere!!! :)
