Random Smiles With Miss Em

You know, I'm not EVEN going to pretend that smiling and having fun is at the top of my list lately, for some odd reason it's actually been an effort to squeeze a chuckle or crack a smile(that sounds a little like 12 year old boy humor, sorry). Emma has made made it a tad bit easier to smile that frown away.
Example number one, her strong desire as of late to go into the sanitation industry. She has a fascination for the trash, playing in it, eating from it(yes Emma adjacent to trash is still trash), and her new career choice, carting it around like the trash woman she longs to be. So proud Em, so proud!

Examples number two and three, Captain Underpants!

Sorry Danielle, I think Emma is now the new Fashionista. She loves to get dressed and undressed, well undressed definitely comes before dressed. The girl would be naked 24/7 if her mother would let her. Panties over her clothes is her new fashion statement, and she wears it like that often. Dear sweet Emma, thanks for the chuckles and smiles, it feels good.

Ah...I think Emma and my little Allan are two peas in a pod! Cause he LOVES THE TRASH too! Always putting things that don't belong there (like shoes and cups and remote controls. Always the stuff you just so happen to need at the moment, too! He also loves to go trash diving and also would eat out of the trash if I didn't catch him just in time! Made me LOL when I read it...and I love the underpants thing too! :)

I love the first picture with Copper licking his chops watching Emma fuss with the garbage bag. He's probably thinking FINALLY one of these kids knows where to get the good stuff! I'm glad you are finding joy in the small moments of life. Laughing and crying is what makes us human. It feels good...

Too cute and funny! They (kids)are just the best at this age! Keep the training up and start showing her where you put the trash out! ;)
I'd bake for you any day, Becky, and of course, it would have chocolate!

I'm glad your finding a few smiles in your day. My kids have never relly been into the trash, but the naked thing for sure.

Not sure if you knew this Becky, but at one point in our lives me and all my siblings wanted to be trash men!! True story! We loved our trash man so much that we wanted to be just like him! Maybe Emma will grow up to be just like us! :)

I'm so glad she has been there to give you a few smiles! That is too cute.
My little one would be naked all day if I would let him. I just took a bare bottom pic of him standing by the Christmas tree! LOL

Each day to live....

Finding the little things in the day that make me smile.
